Fractional

A head of growth, part time.

Senior ownership of acquisition, direct rather than through an agency. Ten years in paid, more than €15M managed, and stints inside Gameloft, Blinkist and 21 Buttons where getting it wrong was expensive.

When it fits

The gap this actually fills.

  • Channels run, nobody owns the numberEvery agency reports its own success. Add them up and you get more revenue than you actually made.
  • Direction comes from outsideStrategy from people paid by their own renewal is not strategy. It is a proposal.
  • The team can execute, nobody decidesChannels run, budgets get spent, and no one is deciding what to stop.
How it runs

What the seat includes.

  1. 01

    Set the frame

Which numbers decide, what good looks like this quarter, and which channels stop.

  2. 02

    Weekly rhythm

A standing review of the accounts and the metrics, plus the escalations your team should not have to resolve alone.

  3. 03

    Build the bench

Your people take the decisions over as they go. The seat is meant to shrink.

FAQ

The questions founders ask.

What does a fractional CMO cost?
The advisory seat is €6k–€10k a month with a three-month minimum. A build engagement, where I am hands on, runs €12k–€20k a month. Both are fixed fees.
How many days a month is that?
The seat is priced on the decisions, not the hours, but in practice it is two to four days a month plus a weekly call. If you need more than that, you need a build engagement.
Fractional or an agency?
You buy an agency for execution in one channel. You buy the seat for the decisions above it: which budget goes where, what stops, and which number counts in the first place. If your channels run clean and you are only short of hands, you do not need the seat.
Which channels do you cover?
Paid social first, which is where the deepest experience is: seven figures a year on Meta at Blinkist, plus Google, TikTok and Apple Search Ads across app and subscription businesses.
How does it end?
By design. Three months minimum, then monthly. The goal is that your team keeps running it without the seat.
